The MAPIC, the 1st international exhibition dedicated to retail property market, hosted in Cannes last 16-17 November 2016. This year, for the first time, a 1 000m2 area called “Trends Hub” was dedicated to Innovation. Key Infuser was there to present KiOne robot’s new design.
Interesting discussions about the product and about the interest of the technology to increase customer’s experience in retail (shopping center’s application demo, etc).
We thank Pôle de Compétitivité SCS de la région PACA for this opportunity to have a booth during this prestigious event.
First the selections, then the finale of the competition in front of an expert jury. We are very pleased to receive the 3rd award of the Huawei Digital #Inpulse competition 2016.
We are proud of being recognized by Huawei, a player in our market, a smartphone and digital devices manufacturer. We will use this award and this financial grant for accelerating our development.

The Innovation Day was held on June 2nd at Telecom Paristech Paris.
Form the first year’s student project to the well-established startup, Telecom Paristech Paris students, alumni and special guests discovered a large panel of technological innovation through presentations and discussions.
We were in and were able to show through a concrete example, KiOne, what sort of incredible power our engineer school gave us. Particularly a pertaining message there as Lidwine Martinot, our CTO, is a Telecom Paristech alumni.
A question from Jean-Luc Vaillant, Linkedin co-founder, to Domitille on people’s motivation to visit stores.
KIOne faced successfully the challenge proposed by Stéphane Bohbot (Innov8, LICK): demonstrating the mixfader. It is a new connected device for DJs, which is able to mix, scratch together with your phone or tablet. Something difficult to exercise if you don’t have a pro around…
Well, KIOne is not yet one of the best DJs in the world ; but it certainly managed to show in a few seconds the purpose of the connected object to all the Distree Connectdays visitors.

Good feedbacks at the Orange Start-up days last week where key infuser was present at Orange’s boutiques in Cannes, Antibes and Grasse with their robotised demonstrator. Three key feedbacks for In-Store marketing: Visitors want interactive démos, want to be educated on Connected Objects applications, expect a different experience instore versus text and videos they can watch on Internet.
